From local singer/songwriter Holly Figueroa's Mailing List:

You know what I'm tired of? Dirty diapers. That's right, I said it. Shit. Everyone says "oh, come on, it's just baby pooh, it's different!". Uh uh. Bullpoo. It's shit.

There. I feel better. How are you?

Other than that, everything is going really well over here...baby is doing great (4 months old and already talking in full sentences! Well, not really, but he is fat and happy, which is all you are supposed to be at 4 months old.) Maddy is adjusting remarkably well, JC has stopped coming home with a shocked look on his face because he forgot that we had another child, and I am settling in to being a cookie baking, laundry doing, carpet sweeping, soccer screaming, diaper changing stay at home mom. NOT!

I am actually liking being home more often. We moved into this house and then I went on tour for 3 years...it's nice to wake up in the place you call home once in a while. Plus I realized why my husband and I have gotten along so much better the last few years is because we never saw each other. It's a miracle I became pregnant at all being gone as much as I was, and I'm still having to reassure him on occasion that yes, in fact, this is his baby. (it's a feat, because half of my college ex-boyfriends I could possibly hook up with on the road look just like my son: fat and bald.)
