Eric Idle presents... The FCC Song.
Here’s a little song I wrote the other day while I was out duck hunting with a judge…

Some nice ukulele playing from Eric, too.

Kingfisher on Lake Sammamish
I've started posting some pictures of wildlife on Lake Sammamish. Most are taken with a telephoto lens from my office window. I will be adding to the collection from time to time.

I'll be playing my ukulele at the Folklife Festival this year. While I have gone to Folklife for many years and even M.C.'ed, playing on stage there is a first for me. I'll be with the Seattle Ukulele Players, about 40 strong, so I won't have to worry if I play a wrong note - I'll be drowned out anyway.

Broad Street Lawn stage, Saturday the 29th at 12:20. Be there or be square.

It was written by a lot of really smart guys;
it's worked for over 200 years, and
Hell, we're not really using it anymore.

I've visited the counties in yellow.
Which counties have you visited?

Now this is more of a challenge than the US states map, at least as far as I'm concerned. Obviously I must visit Scotland, Wales and Shropshire (perhaps for the Fat Pig contest!).

A new look! Blogger has added new features, including comments, so a revamp of this blog seemed in order. Let me know if you like it, or if you have problems with it.

LiveJournal Images
The latest images posted to LiveJournal. Everyone blogged this awhile back and the site was overwhelmed and taken down. Now the wave has receded and it's back up. Fascinating stuff.
