It's a sad day for our country, to see the scary George W. Bush re-elected. Democrats have a lot of rethinking to do. In our state, Patty Murray coasted to an easy win for a third term in the Senate. Looking ahead to 2008, I think she'd be a strong candidate for President. Her "mom in tennis shoes" identity is clear and easy to understand. She had the guts to vote against the war. Like with Dubya, people keep "misunderestimating" her.
