Vegetarian Restaurants in Novosibirsk, Siberia, Russia

We visited Novosibirsk in December 2002. It's not easy being a vegetarian here. Meat gets added to soups and salads that don't need them. Perhaps it's a reaction to coming out of years of rationing. You can make a meal out of side dishes - most menus are strictly a la carte, which helps.

  It's owned by an American, Eric Shogren, and it's the American hangout. They have cheese quesidillas that are vegetarian. There's also a bakery at this location.
